The metaphor is obvious but the place where it came from is my 7th grade teacher, my first teacher ever, half Swedish, who played Carly Simon records in class for us instead of teaching us English. She had a boyfriend who looked like Joe Namath, an American football player and he had a Volkswagen Bug with a butterfly decal on his rear view mirror. Voilà".
-Before Great Beyond MS "Again going back to the 1970's, a little bit later, after my English teacher. This one involved paperback books called like 'The Happy Bisexual' and Pyramid Of The Gods' or whatever. Really strange kind of pop art shit. A lot of which actually, well we don't need to go into that here tonight."
