Many thanks to the two folks that recorded and shared their sources

with the world.  Without them this would not exist, so credit to

those where credit is due.  Thank you very much.

Tech Notes

FLACs decoded to wave and Wavmerge was used to reassemble tracks

back to 1 long wave.  CEP2.0 was used to align & synch both sources

(time compress and expand).  SF8.0 was used for the EQ setting on

the AUD source.  Waves L2 was use for some compression used in the

patched areas.  CEP2.0 was used to preform the multitrack mixdown.

CEP2.0 was used to preform the multitrack mixdown.  This is a 60%

DFM, 40% mix.

- Mixed by dan@am-dig.com

- FLAC conversion 11-NOV-2008

- Artwork reworked by dan@am-dig.com 300dpi - For best results

print at the highest resolution onto glossy photo paper.

Design for use with a clear, slim, double CD case.

- Special thanks to Bernard Polet for the photos used in the artwork.

And special thanks also to Sibko of www.remcoverstudio.com for the

Notes

The entire show is seamless and can be burned in any config that

you want and can be played back in its entirety from start to

finish without interruption.

d1t01 "Bad Day" the DFM source started rather abruptly.  This

was edited with a lead-in patch from the AUD source and then

crossfades back to the DFM.

d1t07 This was missing on the DFM source and therefore is patched

from the AUD source and then crossfades back to the DFM.

d2t04 "Horse To Water" This was missing on the DFM source and

therefore is patched entirely from the AUD source and then

crossfades back to the DFM.

d2t08 "Encore Break" This was missing on the DFM source and

therefore is patched from the AUD source and then crossfades

back to the DFM.

d2t11 "Losing My Religion" This was missing on the DFM source and

therefore is patch entirely from the AUD source and then crossfades

to the DFM.

d2t13 "Man On The Moon" ended abruptly and cuts off the feedback

at the very end of the song.  This as edited with a patch from the

AUD source and then fades out prior to the house music kicking on.

Notes on the Sound Samples

Sample_1 "SBD_AUD_matrix_mix"

This is a clip of the matrix mix to give you an idea of what to

expect.  You will only notice subtle changes in sound over the

straight DFM.  A little more warmth, additional "thump" to the

bass and an expanded dynamic range.  The DFM was quite compressed

and the addition of the more dynamic AUD sources helps out.

Sample_2 "MTX_to_AUD_banter_patch"

This sample gives you an idea of what to expect for the areas

that the DFM was missing and is patched entirely with the AUD

source.  The AUD was EQ'ed and some Waves L2 compression applied.

I did the best I could to make these source changes as smooth as

possible and the end I was very happy with the results.

Sample_3 "Remastered_AUD_source"

This sample gives you and idea of the 2 songs ("Horse To Water"

and "Losing My Religion") that are comprised using just the

AUD source.  The AUD was remastered to best match the sound of

the DFM.  Of course it is still a noticeable change in sound but

less jarring.  I did this with asome EQ'ing, some Waves L2

compression and by matching the levels of the DFM.

Sample_5 "5_channel_surround"

Here you get to listen to the different surround sound fields.

First you will hear 22.5 seconds of the front channels, 22.5

seconds of the center channel, 22.5 seconds of the LFE/subwoofer

and finally 22.5 seconds of the rear channels.  In the real

5.1 mix the center and LFE channels are mono - here they are 2

channel mono.

Notes:

-Before Ignoreland MS notes it has been exactly 5 years since they played there and that the song is aout the introduction of facism under the Reagan and Bush senior administrations.

-MS describe Electrolite as his terrile attempt to desribe what it is like to stand in the Hollyood hills overlooking the Los Angeles basin.
