Notes:
-Have a 2nd source of this show, Flas Friday Sony MZ-R70-church audio mics-battery box with bass roll off.  Graded C, distant and boomy
-Setlist highlights: Little America (7), West Of The Fields (1 promo, 9 tour), Wolves, Lower (4), Find The River (10), Life And How To Live It (5)
-After Ignoreland MS "That song was from the year 1638, it's on our 75th album".
-MS starts talking over the intro to Man-Sized Wreath for which he apologizes.  He goes on to say that he has been told the meat packing district of Manhattan is the most liberal area in the U.S. but he thinks that it compares to Berkeley "I always fell a little relaxed when I'm here, like I can breathe.  Which in and of itslef is a little bit of a bubble and we all know that.  But it's ok, the dream lives on in me and you and all of us."
-IOL is given its standard intro
-West of the Fields is introduced as being from 1064.  After the song MS "There was this whole thing where we did this live rehearsal for the last record in Dublin.  So we pulled some of the lyrics off of the internet.  Some of the lyrics had never been written down and the ones that were written down and sent to the publishing company I wrote as many terrible...no not awesome, terrible.  Anyway, to stick to the point here, which I'm not great at generally speaking.  I'm trying to focus.  The bridge of this song had the lyric 'the animals'--now that song was written in 1981.  There's not an actual lyric.  It was written in New Orleans about Elysian Fields, which is one of the streets that borders the French Quarter.  We wound up making two records there at Danny Lanois' studio.  But anyway, the bridge of the song, the middle 8 as it was written on the internet and what I was presented on a piece of paper in Dublin was...was...it's like Oprah, isnt it?  'The animals are strange, try to put it in'  Now, I wrote some pretty bad lyrics when I was 21 years old, and I still did drugs when I was 21 years old.  Not much longer after that to tell the truth.  But I never wrote 'The animals are strange, try to put it in' just to set the record strraight.  Anyway, I've yet to make it through the middle weight of that song without cracking myself up.  [MM] What did you write?  [MS] But if I can't make myself laugh then who am I?  [MM]  I was just wondering what you actually did say.  If you didn't say 'The animals are strange', what did you say?  [MS] I haven't got a fucking idea Mike.  What were you doing on 1981 by the way?  [MM] This and that.  [MS] I have photographic evidence."
-Bfore Electrolite, MS notes it is their California song :but it's southern California, which draw boos from the crowd.
-Before Final Straw, MS notes they released it on the website from the studio in Vancouver shortly after the invasion of Iraq.
-Before Find The River, MS "we rehearsed this song one time before this moment".
-I'm Gonna DJ has a lot of new stuff going on un the background,  some whoo-whos and MM chanting I'm Gonna DJ to close the song out.
-MS states this is the North American debut of Mr. Richards.
-After intros MS notes Calfornia's recent passage of same-sex marriage legislation, and that he doesn't want to live in California.

Grade: A
-The patched songs are a noticeable drop.
