Timeline notes: Peter played mandolin on 'The Curse Of Comfort' during The Thrill's opening set. The band just finished 'Man On The Moon' as the last song and Michael stood up on his monitor-box and wanted to get rid of his in-ear-monitoring-cable to get his shirt off. The band kept on playing the last chord waiting for Michael to stop the song. But the cable somehow got caught in his necklace and he couldn't untie the cable. The band was already joking about it and continued to play the last chord, a roadie came to help him, while Michael started to sing 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' by The Stooges. And the band had great fun to get into the song. After the first chorus Michael was finally released and went on singing another verse and chorus with Peter and Scott joining in on the chorus!
Notes:
-Rare outing of Sweetness Follows, setlist shuffled up a bit. I like coming back from the encore with Begin The Begin.
-MS before LMR gives his standard intro the adds, "Somehow we wind up playing it every night that we perform".
-Before I'm Gonna DJ PB asks MS "This was on my amp. I don't know what it means. What do you think it means? [MS] Rock hucker rock...I don't know. It's written on the back of a beer thing so that might indicate something". He goes on to note he had a story ready but it is too long.
Grade: C
-Solid sound but venue acoustics not great.
