Timeline notes: Joseph Arthur guests on guitar on 'Permanent Vacation'. First performance of '7 Chinese Bros.' since 26 November 1986. Peter Buck played guitar on 'In The Sun' during Joseph Arthur's set, and also Peter lent Joseph his guitar to finish his set when he broke strings on 2 guitars.

Notes:
-Not much audience reaction for & Chinese Bros.  
-Before IWTBW MS notes the song was written "After September 11th and during the invasion of Iraq.  It's a song that calls into question the actions of our govronment".  He seems to have abandoned his North American intro of telling about his father's military service.
