Timeline notes: Joseph Arthur guests on guitar on 'Permanent Vacation' & 'I'm Gonna DJ' & Peter Buck played guitar on 'In The Sun' during Joseph Arthur's set. First performance of 'Departure' since 21 November 1995

Notes:
-Intro to Electron Blue was a little rough
-Before IWTBW MS wishes someone a happy brirthday.  He goes on to introduce the song with a phrase he claims to have taken from Joseph Arthur: "I'm not giving up".
-Other than the bobble at the beginning of Electron Blue, the band is in fine form despite a month layoff
-Before PV MS acknowledges this is the first show of 2005 and wishes everyone a happy new year.  He adds that "it was Lisbon that we chose to come back to to start our tour and there's a reason for that.  As you're leaving the building tonight, please look around and notice, this is one of the most beautiful, one of the most forward looking progressive cities in the world and it's awesome to spend our time here".  He introduces I'm gonna DJ as a song that was written last year "which if you think about it was only seven days ago".
