These recordings are done pretty econo... the front end is from sound pros using audio technica mid range stereo cardoid mics into a battery box to raise the headroom and then to a sharp MT877 MD recorder. It gets the job done, I hope you will agree.
From there I record it onto my mac using some shareware called Amadeus II which I also use to cut it into tracks as aiff files. These files are converted to flac/shn with xACT.

Timeline notes: First time 'It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)' has ever opened a show. 'Permanent Vacation' featured Steve Wynn.
Notes:
-Also have an unknown source with 15 tracks on D1
-My CDRs dont match up with the tracklisting of the PeteC master, but only one source I'm aware of & likely I just didn't check the text file before burning.
-First concert after yet another Republican win in the recent election. After Final Straw MS "Frankly I have no idea what to say tonight, so I decided to say as little as possible". The band gets through the night ok, but MS is clearly despondent and it's hard to imagine that sentiment was not shared with MM and PB
-Sweetness Follows is one of 7 2004 performances
-MS states that BITW takes place in Tennessee, and later that Cuyahoga takes place in Ohio which draws boos for some reason.
-MS announces he is adding MOTM to the list of songs "that belong to each and every one of you".
Geade: C (both vesions)
-muddy bass, kind of dull all around, matches the mood of the band.
