Timeline notes: First night of the tour and first performance of 'I'm Gonna DJ' which was not on the original setlist, along with 'Country Feedback'. 'Permanent Vacation' was added during the encore.
Notes:
-WLP is sent out to an un named friend MS saw before the show
-MS notes Electrolite as Peter's suggestion "as it's kind of Los Angeles based".
-MS rambles a it before Aftermath noting MM is the best bass & piano player and talking about slipping onstage at the Hollywood Bowl.
-Before Cuyahoga MS references California's union laws and that they watched the debate that evening backstage before the show "and came away very depressed".
-Before ATS MS "I'll save you the speech about flat earthers dragging us ack to the 17th century but you can go google Talamir(?) Copernicus and Galileo that will possibly bring some light to the title of the next song".
-After IOL MS proclaims the Greek Theater to be the best outdoor venue in LA. He adds that the best place to see a and is the Wiltern Theater, which was hosting a benefit for the Daniel Pearl Foundation that night.
-Country Feedback solo 2:18. After the song MS extolls the virtues of voting.
-Before Permanent Vacation MS notes he was 0 hen it as written. After the song he states it is the oldest and I'm Gonna DJ is the newest.
Grade: A
-Briefly lost a channel after Final Straw. It's back before Bad Day.
-There is some subtle weirdness with the channels throughout.
