Notes:
-MS talks about the requests procedure noting that Animal was hig on the list but that they would play it anyway as it's a new song "And tonight I'm singing it for a very special friend of ours, our number one fan in the world Mr. William Thomas Berry".
-Dewitt Burton is brought on stage to make his request of D@THH
-MS introduces So Central as "A song we debuted on the David Letterman Show about 430 years ago".
-MS feigns a phone call to Dick Cheney and Karl Rove before Bad Day
-TOIL has a false start.  After the song MS notes "I forget what it's like to be cold and sweating at the same time.  It's been a long time since we've been in the south and it's fucking good to be back.  This next song is about a different south.  It's a south that I didn't know until--Piggly Wiggly?  What are you the heir?  You got a lot of stock?  It's a great southern institution, that's what my grandmother always told us.  She might have been biased.  I like Publix too, don't you Pete Yorn?  I like Publix.  That has nothing to do with what I was trying to say.  You've had your moment, now it's my turn.  It's a different south, it's a south we didn't explore until probably three years into travelling around North Carolina, playing Chapel Hill, Carrboro finally making it to the big time: Greensboro.  Once we conquered the south it was time to go north and show the Yankees how to do it.  So we went up to New York City.  We played a place called the Pilgrim Theater set up by Jim Perotte(?)  I'll never forget, the second we came off stage we took what little equipment we had, we walked out the back door.  These thugs came in the front door with baseball bats, they stole everything that everybody had.  We were the only ones who got away.  I hope i'm not bringing something on to us by saying that.  Anyway this is a different south, what this song is about.  The southern part of California.  A vary controversial place these days, but a place that holds great memories for me.  A great strange place and this is a song about standing on Mulholland drive, looking down at that blanket of electrolites and wondering what the fuck everybody is thinking about".
-Before I've Been High MS enquires as to the well being of the lawn attendees, claims he is taller than he looks and states that he only said the song was hard to sing 'to fake you out'.  He sends the song out to the memory of Marc Bolan.
-Standard intro to LMR.  Someone came in a half beat early but they continue on.
-Convertible story before FTR
-Before L&HTLI MS "When I say I'm in love you best believe I'm in love. L-U-V."
-Sweetness Follows is noted as a late request from Judy.  After the song, during band intros MS asks SM if he played "a little impromptu thing at The Cave last night?"  SM indicates that he did.
-Before RFE MS "This next song was our first hit in Chapel Hill-Raleigh-Durham".

-Grade: B
