NOTES:

A few seconds are lost on Drive (approx 2:11 there's a quick drop out into the song) due to me bumping the recorder (paused).
Some mic noise during the first cd thanks to a constant security presence until the encore.
CD2/T1 begins abruptly due to a MD switch, otherwise a stellar recording.

Notes:
-Mitch version starts out really nice but dops off at one point, then drops off again.  Still the better of the two.
-Drive is sent out to Al Franken "Who has provided all of us on stage with a very good book to read this summer".
-Fall On Me is notes as a request "From Laurie from our awesome record company".
-Before Dysleeper MS "This song was written in New York City, my second home".
-Before Bad Day MS "It's nice to be here and not in the ausience".  He the tells of having to wake up the previous day at 5 AM to "Play the song for people who have never been to Madison Square Garden and probably never will.  It was fun though".
-MS sends Rockville out to June Carter Cash "It was some years ago at a movie premier that I had the great pleasure to meet someone who I had a great deal of respect for as a songwriter, as an American songwriter.  And when I met her I looked like a freak.  I was wearing a skirt and I had makeup on and she didn't know me from Moses but the first thing she did, she walked up to me and said 'give me a hug around the neck'.
-MS sings a verse of Patti Smith's We Three before Country Feedback.  PB's solo 1:55.
-After NYC MS "That was just short of precious, I aoplogize.  Mike Mills actually knows how to play his insturment.  Let's see how he does".
-After Nightswimming MS "Peter Buck and I first came to New York City when I was 19 years old.  I had on a pair of green pinty shoes that I got at the thrift store for a dollar.  I had some skin tight wide row banana colored corduroy pants and I wore very very dark eye shadow.  And we slept on the street in a van and we couldn't understand why nobody in mid town would let us use their toilet."  He shifts to the intro of Final Straw "This is a song we wrote for New York.  We wrote it after the election and before the blackout".
-Gardening At Night is sent out to Sparklehorse on their last night with the tour.  Ms also notes the song is difficult to sing with no room to breathe.
