Notes: This capture is a hybrid of the original and the archived Quicktime webcasts. It DOES NOT contain the audio drop-outs that flawed the original webcast. There are a few minor pops, but no drop-outs. The hybrid was necessary because the archived recording was incomplete.

I prefer not to use overburn, so I moved SJWTB to disc two. The end of the track includes the keyboard intro to Walk Unafraid, so it works better there anyway.

Details: R.E.M. recorded at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON. I was
sittingin the upper bowl for this recording but it still sounds
pretty good. There were a lot of empty seats at this show, maybe since
tix were so expensive, I paid $60 for mine and I was in the upper bowl
I think the floors and lower bowl were $80, the last time R.E.M. played
Toronto before this show it was free so that may be why it was so
empty. There is a small amount of talking on the recording, not enough
to ruin it.

Timeline notes: Tour debut for 'Sweetness Follows'. Show was broadcast over the internet through REMHQ
Notes:
-Before Fall On Me MS notes the band is taking requests via the website but "W e will never play Kohoutek again. We will never play Wendell Gee again".
-Before TOIL MS enquires how many people were at the Younge St show and notes he looks better now as he had some work done when they passed through LA. He also notes that people like to sing along to the song "Though I don't know why".
-MS also doesn't know why three people on stage wanted to play I Believe. He talks about their time in Vancouver "It's been a real joy to be outside of our country and have some different perspective on it". He reiterates that the song is difficult to sing as there is nowhere to breathe.
-MS rambles about the last century and the current century and how in his judgement the last century was fucked up but he is optimistic for the next "with fucked up comes redemption".
-MS tells his Miami Beach intro to FTR
-MM sends Get up out to some friends that have come a long way.
-After Sweetness Follws MS acknowledges the webcast audience and introduces a multitude of people who share the same birthday.
