Notes;
-Before Animal MS points out Mars, greets some friends from Miami and points out why the venue is called Zred Rocks to them, and offers his 'here and now' thought.
-MS notes it's the first time Pretty Persuasion has been played on stage in the 21st century.  "It came from a dream I had and when I woke up, well we were all room mates at the time, this is going back a couple, say seven lives.  Well in my life anyway.  And I woke up and I had this dream about single sleeve and the title of the song was Pretty Persuasion".
-Before Animal MS notes he is stiff "It was a little cold last night", before noting that Bad day "Went to radio this week".
-Before Electrolite MS thanks the people who let them get naked in their restaurant the previous night [MM] "I liked it"  [MS] "You were good"  [MM] "I do what I can".
-Before MOTM MM notes one of the repeating themes in MS's lyrics are clothing related, giving the example of Good Advices, which causes MS to sing the line 'When you meet a stranger, look at his shoes'.  There is some confusion over wether the theme was body parts or clothing but MM sets MS straight.  MS goes on to note the previous song and the next song have stars in them but "I'm really, really truly,not a hippie I swear to god.  Ok, maybe for six months in 1974, but I was a kid, you know?  I was a Jesus freak for six months before that and look where that put me".  He goes on to send the song out to Elizah.
-There is an extended break after Great Beyond, eventually MS asks for a note.  There is also one before Rockville, which MM sends out to June & Johnny.
-Before LMR MS notes it is a request "as if we wouldn't play it because we play it every time we play".
-Before AMMB MS tells of travelling from Athens to Vancouver which always had a connection in Denver "every single time in the Denver airport smoking lounge at least one person tried to pick me up.  These guys have heard this story before but it culminated one day when I hadn't shaven, I hadn't shave my face or my head.  I looked like dog meat I mean I was pathetic.  I hadn't taken a bath for a while.  I hadn't eaten, I was probably humg over from the night before, and not one, not two, three people tried to pick me up in the space of an hour on a layover en route to Vancouver.  I'm going to say thank you Denver!."
-SJWTB is sent out to Wilco
-After Walk Unafrain, MS points out the moon "Our incredibly expensive backdrop", then "Are you the guy who requested Wendel Gee?  Is that you?  We've never performed that song live.  Not once.  There's a reason for that.  Let it go.  It's a beautiful song, it's Vic Chesnutt's favorite song that we ever wrote but we're not ever going to play it live.  Thanks you for asking [MM] Wait untill my solo tour."  MS shifts gears into hs 'here & now' variant of the evening.
-Before IOL MS notes it's warmer than the previous night, points out Mars and the moon again, sings a snippet of 'Stuck In The Middle With You' and the band sings Craig the accountant happy birthday.  When asked if he wants to say something, a sheepish 'hi' comes over the mic. The first try of the song is derided by MS "What the fuck was that?".  A proper version follows.  Band intros are very well done by MS this evening including 'Asparagus Mike, Shy Peter, and I'm the guy who recently home bleached my teeth just for you".  After the song MS "I'm going to step back there and pretend like I'm taking oxygen for one moment."  He goes on to thank the crowd "for clapping so much while we went back there for the encore.  We were doing practical things like peeing, smoking crack, making long distance phone calls to places across the ocean, getting massages, such as that".  He swaps out mics and then Wilco is brought on stage for arguably the best Country Feedback of the tour.  PB goes for 2:43 during his sublime solo.
-ITEOTWAWKI is sent out to Pat McCarthy who flew into Denver for the show.
