Alrighty folks, hot out of the oven another new DAT release from Stonecutter collection.
We have a brand new R.E.M. recording that's been sitting in the dark for too long.
The opening act was Spacehog, followed by over 2 hours from R.E.M.
Deni Bonet guests on violin on "Losing My Religion" & "Nightswimming".
Patti Smith sings lead vocals on "E-bow the Letter".
The recording levels were a bit low and the sound was somewhat distant.
I amplified the volume 12 decibels, which seemed to pull in the sound a little closer.
Thanks goes out to Rich for taping and sending his master tape over my way to be shared here on TTD.
Samples Provided.

Notes:
-Jesus pre-tag on New Test Leper (Velvet Underground)
-Before Daysleeper MS "It's great to be here by our ancient ancestors, the fish. Don't tell Kansas". He goes on to describe his bull & bear daydream but is accompanied by keys which he compares to Peter And The Wolf and Cats. After the song MS mistakenly notes it is August.
-Before Fall On Me MS details telling Henry Rollins to act like a flight attendant during his stand0up act and he did. He also disparages Delta Airlines andreminisces about what his siter was wearing in 1972.
-Before The Apologist MS "This guy goes through therapy like it's a 12 step program and this is part of it".
-Before Sweetness Follows, MS calls song dedications "clammy" then goes on to dedicate the song to someone's grandmother & grandfather.
-Hope is played by MS solo, then he is joined by MM for Why Not Smile.
