****************end original text***************
-Original text includes EAC extraction log and ffp's omitted here.
-MS gives his here & now spiel before Camera and there is a little garbled bit toward end of Camera.
-MS tells of finding his lost toothbrush before Fall On Me.
-Levels are really high on MM's and PB's mic for backup vocals. They are both fixed quickly but both times you hear it (SFSN & Fall On Me) it's kind of jarring.
-Jesus is sent out to "all the people in our lives with real and true faith".
-MS notes they have played Begin The Begin only three times prior on this tour.
-PB unleashes a Country Feedback solo of 1:36, one of his longest to date.
-MS asks for someone to tie his shoe
-Another garbled bit after AMMB
-MS before LMR "So we got to get this right now. You people in the middle, in the front, you need to tell the people over there that they're not supposed to untie my shoes. You hear that? And if anyone over there sees anyone trying to untie my shoe, you smack them on their dirty little hand". He goes on to relay his wish to be in the back with a bottle of rum in his pocket "But instead, here I am. Oh well. [MM] Life's a bitch. [MS] It's not so bad".
-After the encore break MS attempts to cover Pearl Jam's Long Road "I wanted to do this killer song for you but I can't remember the chords. [sings the first line] I'm trying to concentrate, do you mind? [sings another line] Nope, that's not it. I'm sorry I can't do it. I meant to practice beforehand but I got all wrapped up in friends and family and stuff and picking out my costume for the evening. Which took about three and a half minutes, all of that actualli. All right, I'll just do the regular thing".
-Edit after Hope
-MS after Why Not Smile Welcomes the Atlanta Symphony members and then "I swear, that is the last time I will ever attempt a subtle moment in Buckhead, Georgia. You people conduct yourselves like you drive. It's like 50% of you are right there and the other 50% are yapping away trying to get laid. It's very, very weird. And I wouldn't have said a thing but that is exactly what this next song is about".
-Before Gardening MS notes it is the 17th anniversary of the release of Chronic Town "Maybe Peter knew that when he put the setlist together but I guess in celebration of that anniversary we're going to perform a song for you here. This is as old as the hills this song. But really, very much officially I think it's like the first time that I felt like we had actually written a song. I hope you like it".
-MS thanks 99X after Tongue and promotes the charity The Georgia Trust For Historic Preservation.
Grade: A
-Fantastic setlist.
