notes: Falls To Climb and Hope were again played by Stipe solo. Mike does backing vocals on E-bow rather than Patti Smith. Long Legged Girl is an Elvis song which Stipe sings a few verses of.

The tracks are arranged in Disc One/Disc Two folders with the break coming just before Losing My Religion. Files 1-14 are in Disc One. Files 15-27 are in Disc Two.

As always the setlist is taken from Darryl White's incomporable and essential REM Timeline ( www.remtimeline.com - your one stop shop for all matters related to REM shows and setlists).

This is the third of the UK shows that I recorded during the Up Tour. I was sitting in Row C, about 10 metres away from the Mike side P.A.stack.  I think it's the best sounding of these shows but you can be the judge of that.

-Low Desert gets one of 11 outings & MS refernces playing it at soundcheck.  After the song "Is this a clear one?  Does it make a noise?  It sings?  Wait wait wait shhh...it's broken.  But I'm not".
-Before Star 69 MS comments on his mic stand and Ed
-After Tongue MS "Earlier, well actually I was going to say earlier tonight but this is actually about the 12th occurence this week where I recognize that something I read or something I had seen on TV was profoundly affecting the way that I move myself around, just a lonely man walking this earth like all the rest of us except for the women of course, who are lonely women walking this earth, but.  So it happened tonight, like 5, 6 songs back and I was facing in this direction at the time and I did this thing that our President Bill Clinton does on TV a lot.  He sticks his jaw out like this and I realized I was doing that.  I think it's because we're in Manchester.  I can't say why but there it is.  I think of Manchester and I think of strong jaws.  Do we have time?  I do remember.  The power went out and people spit on us.  I very much remember that.  Our first show in Manchester.  Many, many centuries ago, before time.  Oh there's this other thing that I've been doing a lot but I know that he got it from me all right?  I read this article in a magazine about a month ago that the one incredibly alluring thing about Brad Pitt is that he licks his lips a lot.  Now, I've always licked my lips a lot and I've had sticky fruit with Brad, so I think maybe he got it from me.  Just kidding.  But I've become really aware of every time I do that I'm really self conscious about it which is humiliating.  No this is humiliating.  Anyway...sorry that...I don't know why I felt the urge to share that with each and every one of you tonight but there it is, in a desperate attempt to feel warmth, as a whole".  He goes on to blame it on a Lenny Bruce ad he saw recently.
-After Fall On Me MS repeats "I will not talk" numerous times and then "I will never ever talk again" a couple more times.
