Show notes: With the Monster tour entering its final month after many illnesses (only Peter escaped a visit to the hospital during the year), R.E.M. had 4 new songs that would appear on New Adventures in Hi-Fi in the set at the expense of some of the Monster tunes like Circus Envy and I Don't Sleep, I Dream being dropped from the set. While history hasn't treated the Monster tour as kindly as some of their other tours, there's some great songs and performances here, and Lindsey Buckingham of (ex) Fleetwood Mac fame plays guitar on Everybody Hurts (but no Tusk unfortunately!). A great show promoting an album that has (in my opinion) gotten better with age.

Recording notes: Whenever you see the name persic attached to a recording you know it's going to be worth your time. A great recording for fans of the Monster tour.

Torrent notes: This first appeared on Dime's predecessor Easytree by user votefornader (who is still around under a different pseudonym), then reseeded by raya in August 2008, and hasn't been seen since, so with a request for it I thought it'd be worth giving this one another spin on Dime. I have made no alteration to the files other than tagging them, and adding a new ffp. Enjoy!

Notes:
-Back row intro to Strange Currencies
-Country Feedback solo 1:17
-MS recites This Little Piggy before TOIL, and seems to make an adjustment to his in ear monitor.  He suggests everyone take off their clothes after the song.
