Timeline notes: At the start of the show Stipe sings lyrics from '(Boy) Go'. As an intro to 'Little America' Stipe sings 'Home on The Range' a capella with help from the crowd. 'Cushy Tush' is played while Stipe asks the crowd to step back ('Simon says two steps back').
A slightly different setlist appears in the book "It Crawled From The South" - this setlist was taken from the tape of the show so they changed the encores slightly from the written setlist.
Notes:
-Edit after d1t7
-Maps & Legends dedicated to Leroy Person(?) 'who died last year. He was a great man'. I found this, which seems to fit: http://www.soulsgrowndeep.org/artist/leroy-person
-Crowd very vocal with requests after songs in the beginning, eventually prompting MS to announce "We'll play what we want to play". This reply seemed to temper the requests for the duration of the show.
-Pretty standard LAHTLI story, with addition of too many cats in his neighborhood.
-MS tells a long rambling story about nothing before Broken Whiskey Glass. Souns like BB has had enough and launches into (very distorted) drum intro almost mid-sentance. When the band returns for it's second encore, MS states: "I was reminded backstage that I am not a very good storyteller" and mostly skips the Two Steps Onward story.
Grade: B
-Runs a little slow
-Distortion in places, incomplete according to the Timeline but I found this to be a very enjoyable show. No skips noted.
